*Pliny the Younger is the author of the first documented ghost story! His story told of an old man rattling chains around in his house. This story comes to us all the way from First Century AD!

*The first documented ghost report comes from a German farmhouse in 9th Century AD! A German couple reported a spirit flying around their home causing a ruckus!

*Ghosts were around before either of these events! While not documented, much evidence points towards ghosts having been incorporated with tribal religions!
